What HooqBi is
HooqBi finds a route to a person you are trying to reach, through people you have actually met, and asks on your behalf. It does not guarantee that a route exists, that anybody replies, or that a conversation is useful. It tells you plainly when it finds nothing.
Early access
HooqBi is free during early access and is actively being built. Features will change, there will be outages, and something you rely on may move. We will not delete your data without telling you.
Your account
One account per person, and the person is you. Your profile should describe who you actually are and what you actually do. The entire product rests on the person at the far end being able to trust the name attached to a request. You are responsible for the email address that signs you in.
You must be 18 or older.
What you may not do
- Send requests you know are irrelevant to the person receiving them.
- Misrepresent who you are, who you work for, or why you are getting in touch.
- Use HooqBi to sell to, recruit from, or harass people who have not agreed to hear from you.
- Scrape, copy or extract other people’s information, or attempt to work out who somebody else is connected to.
- Automate the product, or share your account.
- Try to get around the permission checks, the expiry on objectives, or the limits on how often you can activate somebody’s network.
Relevance is the defence against spam here, not a daily quota. Requests that repeatedly miss raise the bar you have to clear before you can reach into anybody else’s network again. Sustained abuse ends the account.
What you write
Your profile, your notes, your objectives and everything else you type remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them for the one purpose of running the service for you. We do not use them to train anything, and we do not sell them.
Ending it
You can stop using HooqBi at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks the rules above, and will tell you why unless doing so would make the problem worse.
No warranty
HooqBi is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, error-free, or that any introduction will lead anywhere. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us, which during early access is nothing.
Changes
We will email you before these terms change in a way that affects you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
